A couple of days ago Lily was taking a bath.
She looks up at me and says, “Daddy can baptize me!” (She sees Daddy baptizing every couple months or so at church).
Surprised, I say, “Daddy will baptize you when you are older.” Daddy instantly gets a bit emotional thinking about what that will be like.
Lily responds, “It’s ok Daddy. I can baptize myself!” and happily settles into the water.
